Life Threatening Bleeding Control

30 years teaching first aid, 15 years front line experience, 8 years medical cover at major sporting events. 20 years working and managing heavy industrial workplace.

This course provides essential guidance on controlling life threatening bleeding, including the safe and effective use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings. It highlights the inherent risks involved and equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in critical situations.

This qualification is delivered, assessed, and quality assured adhering to the Assessment Principles for Regulated First Aid Qualifications, and delivered and assessed in accordance with the current Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines.

On successful completion of the course students will receive a Life Threatening Bleeding Control certificate. 

3 hours

There is no formal examination. However, learners will be continuously assessed by the trainer throughout the course. A non-regulated certificate of achievement will be awarded to those who demonstrate the required level of competence.
