    30 years teaching first aid, 15 years front line experience, 8 years medical cover at major sporting events. 20 years working and managing heavy industrial workplace.

  • Who is the course for?

    Although it is not mandatory, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommend that qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders undertake an annual refresher course in order to keep their skills up-to-date and refreshed.

    This three hour annual refresher course has been designed to meet that requirement and will help First Aiders to maintain their skills and knowledge whilst also keeping up-to-date with any changes to protocols.

    • Adult Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) 
    • Paediatric Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
    • The use of an AED
    • Bleeding
    • Shock
    • Life Threatening bleeding
    • Seizures
    • Additional topics can be included in this course to suit your circumstances
  • Accreditation

    This qualification is delivered, assessed, and quality assured adhering to the Assessment Principles for Regulated First Aid Qualifications, and delivered and assessed in accordance with the current Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines.

  • Certification

    On successful completion of the course students will receive a Annual First Aid refresher certificate that is valid for one years from the date of achievement.   

  • Course duration

    3 hours

  • Assessment method

    Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual throughout the course and issue a non-regulated certificate of achievement where the required level of attainment has been met.

    16 students to 1 trainer

  • Prerequisite

    Students from the age of 14 can attend this course.

  • Requalification

    To requalify learners will need to complete the full 3-hour course again.
